Joanne Morgan will be taking up the role of CEO for TinyLife, NI’s premature baby charity. Speaking about the appointment Laura McKeaveney, Chair of TinyLife said “we are delighted that Joanne will be leading our organisation as we continue to work to make sure that premature and sick babies get the best start in life and that their families feel supported as their children grow up. Joanne will lead TinyLife to implement our strategy to support, advocate and champion the rights of every premature and sick baby who start their lives in neonatal units.”
Joanne is currently the Programme Manager for Education and Practice, All Ireland institute of Hospice and Pallative Care. A qualified Town Planner, Joanne has been a director and senior manager across a range of early years and health organisations.
Speaking about her appointment, Joanne Morgan said: “Tiny Life is a wonderful local charity providing vital support for premature babies and their families. I have long admired the work of the organisation and feel both privileged and excited take up the post of Chief Executive. I look forward to building on the many successes achieved by the team, partners and families, to ensure the best possible start for all premature and sick babies in Northern Ireland”.
Joanne succeeds Alison McNulty who was CEO for 10 years and will be taking up her post in 20th November 2023.
