Our Mission is that a premature or sick baby who starts life in a neonatal unit in Northern Ireland has the best start to life and is supported to reach their full potential.
To achieve this we will support, advocate and champion for their rights to receive the best support in the right place and at the right time for them, from birth to preschool. We achieve this by empowering families, collaborative working and influencing practice and policy.
If you or someone you know have experienced the birth of a premature, ill or disabled baby, it is likely that your baby will have to spend some time in a hospital neonatal unit. This can be a stressful and anxious time for you.
Thanks to your generous support over the years, since 1988 we have helped support hundreds of premature and ill babies and their parents. Almost 2000 babies spent time in Northern Ireland’s Neonatal units last year, so we still need your help more than ever.
This website provides information on our Family Support services, our specialist programmes, events & volunteering opportunities. If you are a parent, a corporate organisation or a potential volunteer, you will find what you are looking for.
Over our last 35 years, we have increased our range of family support services, funded medical research, developed informative publications and influenced thinking around the care of premature babies.
