Tech Europe gift for TinyLife

Local Lisburn firm, Tech Europe, who specialise in tyre repairs and services, manufacturing, marketing and distributing into Europe, Middle-East and Africa, have recently announced that TinyLife is one of their chosen charities for 2018.

Rachael McConvey from Tech Europe said, “Charitable giving remains a key part of Tech Europe's corporate responsibility strategy as each year we pledge to support a number of charities through fundraising, as well as our company donation policy. We chose TinyLife this year because it is one that resonates highly with the team here, as our Stores Manager, Graham, received support from TinyLife when his son Ollie was born on 23rd September 2013.”

Graham explained, “My son Ollie arrived into the world 13 weeks earlier than expected, at the Royal Maternity Hospital weighing only 2lb 4oz. He was quickly whisked away to the Neonatal ICU and remained in the Royal Hospital for a total of 6 months. TinyLife were amazing throughout this difficult time. They were constantly visiting us and Ollie, offering support and liaising with hospital staff to ensure we were always kept up to date. Ollie is now 4 years of age and such a happy, fun loving little boy who is adored so much. We are so honoured to be the proud parents of Ollie and cannot thank TinyLife enough for all their loving care and attention during his 6-month stay.”

Six babies such as Ollie are born every day in Northern Ireland. The generous support from companies such as Tech Europe helps save tiny lives every day.
