Schools Project Launched

LesleyAnn Macaulay TinyLife's Schools and Community Information Officer is delighted to announce a new fundraising initiative for Primary School age children.  LesleyAnn says 'The initiative makes learning about premature babies fun and at the same time encouarges children to raise some money for sick babies supported by TinyLife.  Our tailored sponsor cards have a find the difference activity for the little ones P1 - P3 and a word search for the older children P4 - P7.  I'm happy to visit the school to give the children an age appropriate presentation on the work of TinyLife.  Once the children have completed their fundraising I will then make a return visit with my special pal Tiny Ted.   Schools interested in getting involved can contact me on : schools@tinylife.org.uk.'

Carryduff Primary School embraced the initiative.  They held a full week of fundraising activities including bun sales, teddy bear and wristband sales and a Pyjama Party.

The children, staff and parents of Carryduff Primary School raised an enormous £1245.77. Tiny Ted heard all about their amazing fundraising and popped in to give them a special thank you.

Well Done Carryduff Primary School!
