Newtownabbey Borough Council unveil flowerbed to mark charity milestone

Newtownabbey Borough Council have planted a beautiful floral display in celebration of local premature baby charity, TinyLife who are celebrating 25 years of supporting families of premature and vulnerable babies born in Northern Ireland. 

The flowerbed, which is located on the Shore Road, was officially unveiled this afternoon by Mayor of Newtownabbey, Alderman Fraser Agnew who said, ‘The Council is delighted to provide this flowerbed in celebration of TinyLife’s 25th anniversary.  I would like to congratulate TinyLife on 25 years of great work on behalf of premature and ill babies as well as providing their parents with much needed practical and emotional support and wish them many more years of excellent service’.

TinyLife offers a range of vital family support services, including a hospital to home service, breast pump hire and Dad’s support group and they are set to unveil a baby sensory room at the offices in Carryduff.  The charity has supported a number of families in and around the Newtownabbey area and would like to extend their warmest thanks to NewtownabbeyBorough Council, the Mayor of Newtownabbey and the people of Newtownabbey for their continued support.
