Mummy Loves My Little Shoes supports TinyLife

Holywood based artist Jude Cree who runs Mummy loves my little shoes has teamed up with TinyLife to raise much needed funds for premature and sick babies born in Northern Ireland.

Jude said, ‘As a mum, I kept special pairs of my children’s shoes, the pile just kept getting bigger and bigger.  So one day, I decided to paint a canvas, put their shoes and name on it and mummylovesmylittleshoes was born'.

The initiative is a creative and innovative take on creating fun memories of childhood.  This is how it works - You chose the canvas size, the colour of the canvas background and the illustration. Then send your children's shoes to Mummy loves my little shoes,  Jude will then hand paint, illustrate and personalise your canvas, sending it back to you to cherish.

Alison McNulty, TinyLife Chief Executive said, ‘At TinyLife, we know parents of premature babies love to keep little keepsakes of their babies to show the children just how small they were when they were born, some as tiny as a 1lb! The concept of keeping the shoes your baby first wore, took their first step in, played in the park in or wore to visit Santa etc is a fantastic way to capture those very special , personal childhood memories and will be a great talking piece.   TinyLife is delighted to benefit from such a unique concept. We wish Jude well with her new business.’
