Healy kicks off partnership with Dunbia

The charity of the year scheme is now in its fourth year in Dunbia and following an employee voting process in recent weeks Matthew Dobson, Managing Director for Dunbia NI said: “TinyLife is the only premature and vulnerable baby charity in Northern Ireland and it was the truly local nature of the charity that appealed to our workforce, knowing that any money raised will directly help babies and their families here in Northern Ireland.”

He continued: “Our charity committee has a calendar of events lined up to raise as much support and awareness for Tiny Life as possible, and, as well as fundraising efforts we also make available our services to help out where possible which can include maintenance for offices and IT support.”

Valerie Cromie, Regional Fundraising Manager for TinyLife commented:  “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as charity partner for Dunbia in this our 25th Anniversary Year.  Every day in Northern Ireland 7 babies are born too soon, some will arrive as early as 24 weeks and weigh as little as 1lb!  TinyLife offers practical and emotional support to the parents of premature and sick babies in Northern Ireland. We are looking forward to working closely with the staff of Dunbia throughout 2013/14.

One of the most anticipated events of the charity calendar each year is the annual football match between Dunbia and its farmers. This year the football match is taking place in Castlecaulfield Pavilion kick off at 6.00pm. Tickets for the steak barbecue that follows at Dungannon Golf Club are £15 and can be purchased from the Dunbia office 02887 720720.
