Citybeat's Stephen Clements gives a big push for TinyLife

Citybeat presenter and new patron, Stephen Clements got behind the TinyLife Guinness World Record Attempt pram push as we launched the event this morning in Belfast. The Guinness World Record attempt pram push this the latest fundraising initiative for the premature baby charity as they call upon all pram pushers from across Northern Ireland to help break the current record of 675 prams being pushed simultaneously for 1 mile which is held by China. Stephen said, "I'm so proud to be involved in the charity and especially looking forward to this world record attempt!! Tiny Life do such amazing work with the families and I'm hoping everyone who can will join us for the big push”. The event will take place on Saturday 8th June at Stormont Estate, Belfast from 10am until 1pm with the record attempt taking place at 12 noon. There will be lots of family activities on the day including bouncy castles, face painting and balloon modelling. Registration costs only £5 per pram and you can sign up by visiting or call Samara on 90815050. Pram pushers are also asked to raise an additional £25 in sponsorship and all money raised will go towards helping the families of premature babies cope with the pressures of having and caring for a sick baby. With free car parking on the estate for all families, a variety of refreshments on offer and a memento gift for every pram pusher, it really will be a fun filled day out.
