Belfast City Council unveil flowerbed to mark charity milestone

Belfast City Council have planted a beautiful floral display in celebration of local premature baby charity, TinyLife who are celebrating 25 years of supporting families of premature and vulnerable babies born in Northern Ireland.

The flowerbed, which is located in the Ormeau Park, was officially unveiled this afternoon by Lord Mayor, Máirtín Ó Muilleoir, who said: “Parks are a great community space, and we are happy to remind visitors about the organisations which support our communities, especially those which benefit our families.

“Parks and open spaces are magnets for families and what better way is there than to use flowers to say thank you.”

TinyLife offers a range of vital family support services, including a hospital to home service, breast pump hire and Dad’s support group and they are set to unveil a baby sensory room at the offices in Carryduff.  The charity supports a number of families in the Belfast and Greater Belfast area and would like to extend their warmest thanks to Belfast City Council and the people of Belfast for their continued support.
