Abigail and Finlay take centre stage at The Grand Opera House

In 2013/14 the Grand Opera House will endeavour to raise awareness among both staff and patrons of the services and support provided by this leading local charity, by stocking their literature, promoting events and selling their merchandise. Alongside these initiatives, the Grand Opera House will also hold their own independent events to raise money for TinyLife services.

Andrew Hill, Chief Executive at the Grand Opera house, commented: “I am delighted to announce the Grand Opera House’s partnership with TinyLife.  As a registered charity ourselves, we know how important strategic partnerships can be and we were very moved by the amazing work that TinyLife does with premature and vulnerable babies and their families.  We hope that our partnership will help raise awareness of this work and, more importantly, raise essential funds in order that TinyLife may continue to support the families of premature babies in Northern   Ireland.”

Valerie Cromie, TinyLife’s Regional Fundraising Manager said: “We are immensely pleased that the Grand Opera House has chosen TinyLife as its partner charity.  Money raised by the Grand Opera House will help us fund our recently created Sensory Room for pre term babies with a sensory impairment, allowing our Family Support Team to offer Sensory Therapy and Baby Massage which helps to develop muscle tone, co-ordination and bonding between parent and baby. To date we have invested over £500,000 in medical research, the results of which are now saving the lives of thousand of babies world wide.    None of this would have been possible without the tremendous support we have received over the years from local businesses.”
